As per Diamond 1, the weekend started and finished bright, sunny and very hot !!
38 teams were present, 10 in Comp A, 12 in Comp B and 16 in Comp C
Approx 150 camped over and enjoyed the evening party, then back to the business end of the day on Sunday.
Again, all 3 divisions were closely fought with the Comp A placings being decided on head to head.
As a lot of players have families now, we decided to have a kids area including a small paddling pool and some fun games for all ages. I did however, hear some of the adults went for dip in the early hours of Sunday morning. A great time was had by all and we look forward to seeing you all again on August 2/3rd for our final event of 2008 where the overall series winners will be decided.
Many thanks to all of the volunteers that helped out over the weekend and thank you to everyone that came along and made it such a great event.
